As the weather gets warmer and class time becomes shorter, students start to get a little antsy.

When you can’t handle staying inside and doing schoolwork anymore, or want rid yourself of post-finals stress, take some time to go to one of these local sporting events.

Whether you’re looking for an afternoon off or some early morning exercise, there are events around town that will cater to your summertime needs.

Sky Sox games

4385 Tutt Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80922

The Sky Sox, Colorado Springs’minor league baseball team who are affiliated with the Milwaukee Brewers, has weekly games to attend over the summer.

With many promotional and theme days, the team offers an opportunity to watch high-level baseball without travelling to Denver to watch the Rockies.

Tickets start at $15 for adults, but you can save on tickets on $2 Tuesdays as well.

Any day you go, a Sky Sox game is a great way to spend an afternoon that supports the local community.

The schedule of games can be found online at milb.com.
