On-campus drug reports and thefts in April, compiled April 13:

Incidents in surrounding area

1. Kidnapping

300 Shadow Ridge Grove Apartments

April 11, 10:20 p.m.

Individuals arrested: Antonio M. Taylor, 28

     A woman reported her 5-year-old child as kidnapped after letting her go on a play date with her ex-boyfriend’s daughter.

     Antonio Taylor took the children to the movies. Afterwards, Taylor provided the reporting party with misleading information about when and where to pick up her daughter.

     The child was eventually located in Taylor’s position by the police.

2. Robbery

4600 Block of Austin Bluffs Parkway

April 5, 12:30 a.m.

Individuals arrested: Joshua Shankland, 27 and Jaquil Robinson, 22

     Two male suspects robbed a 7-Eleven store at gunpoint, and left with an undisclosed amount of cash. Both suspects were eventually identified in the area and charged with aggravated robbery.

3. Altercation, shooting

4300 Integrity Center Point

April 2, 1:46 a.m.

     Police were notified of a fight leading to shots being fired at a bar in the 4300 block of Integrity Center Point, involving several people. No injuries were reported, but the business was struck several times. Minutes after some of the involved participants left the bar, gunshots were heard in the parking lot.
