On Nov. 14, Veteran and Military Affairs and UCCS Police cohosted a mile-long walk across campus. The walk was open to anyone. Participants could begin the walk, which wrapped around central campus on the west lawn, between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.
Jessica Newman, student engagement and programs coordinator for Veteran and Military Affairs, said the event had over 50 participants including a GPS class taught by Associate Teaching Professor Delyn Winters and Academic Advisor Paige Koster.
