UCCS played Westminster on Feb. 9 and Colorado Mesa University on Feb. 10. They brought their winning streak to five games after beating the Griffins 69-56 and the Mavericks 55-51.
#23 Amayah Moore Allen finished at the top of the leader board for both games ending with 20 points, 1 block and 4 rebounds against Westminster. Moore Allen finished with 15 points, 3 blocks and 5 rebounds against CMU. #20 Rylie Ottmann was the second leading scorer for both games with 17 points, 1 block and 1 steal against Westminster. She finished with 10 points, 4 rebounds and 1 assist against CMU.
Up next, the Mountain Lions are on the road to take on Black Hills State on Feb. 16 and South Dakota Mines on Feb. 17. The next home game for UCCS is on Mar. 1 against Colorado State Pueblo.
