William Pham joined The Scribe as a reporter back in the fall of 2019, writing pieces in news, culture, and opinion since then. He joined because he enjoyed writing and believed that his writings could be a way to make a difference within the UCCS community. William wanted to expand the voices and views of students on campus, allowing for all types of students to be represented.
His favorite types of articles to write are opinion pieces. Being a Vietnamese American, he sees campus and global problems a bit differently and allowing him the freedom to express what he sees is where his articles truly shine.
Pham currently is a double major in math and philosophy, entering his fourth year, with the wishful intent of graduating in the spring of 2021. He hopes to attend graduate school after graduation.
