PHOTOSPREAD | Men’s basketball ends season on high note, defeats New Mexico Highlands

The UCCS men’s basketball team finished their 2023-24 season against CSU Pueblo on Mar. 1 and New Mexico Highlands on Mar. 2, splitting the games 1-1. The Mountain Lions finished 12-16 on the season and 8-14 in the RMAC.

Xavier Martinez was the leading scorer against CSU Pueblo with 17 points, followed by Hannes Saar with 11 points. Shareef Jaudon and Mac Stodart each added 10 points.

Jesse Iweze led the Mountain Lions against New Mexico Highlands with 19 points, followed by Martinez with 18, Stodart with 15 and Jayden Washington with 14 points.
