If Colorado University Colorado Springs is known for anything, it’s seating.
Don’t wander aimlessly looking for a place to study. The Scribble has compiled a list of the best places around campus to settle down and prepare to pass those exams.
Sometimes when the library gets too crowded, it can feel like you’re being watched. Despite recent allegations, this is not what the university strives for. To avoid feeling surveilled, check out the Natural History Museum on the top floor of Osborne!

Stay away from the lack of ventilation in the dorms and opt for an area on campus that is sure to make your lungs proud: a designated smoking area! A bonus of utilizing this study spot is the free samples they offer at the various locations, kind of like Costco.

The elevators across campus are known for their ideal lighting and lack of concerning noises, making them a great spot to do some reading. Don’t worry about this guy, he just likes to watch.

When studying gets overwhelming, it helps to get a breath of fresh air and touch some grass. Consider the mysterious cactus patch outside of the Wellness Center. It’s sure to keep you on point during those demanding study guides.

Getting up to use the bathroom when you’ve established a studying groove is frustrating. Avoid this problem by simply studying on the toilet. After the first few flushes, it’s all white noise.

Another quiet area to get some work done is in this active construction zone. The construction crew is friendly and will usually hold off on using the jackhammers until you’re done rehearsing your presentation.

For a change of scenery, consider studying in the back of a police car. The only downside is that you do have to get arrested to get there, but reports put the meals in jail as better than the Lodge.

One of the most important parts of studying is being comfortable. Consider this ultra-sturdy and comfy chair located on the first floor of Osborne. There’s been a surplus of chair-related vandalism spreading across campus, and this must be one of them. Ignore the message; it’s irrelevant.
