“The Super Mario Galaxy Movie” was a colorful and nostalgic sequel. Whether you are a fan of the video games or film in general, this movie is worth watching instead of completing your next module.
When Rosalina (Brie Larson) gets captured by Bowser Jr. (Benny Safdie), it is up to Mario (Chris Pratt) and his crew to save the day.
This star-studded cast gave the characters so much personality. I never would have guessed that Yoshi was voiced by Donald Glover.
Matthew Fogel’s narrative is important for children’s film history. Most protagonists in kids’ movies are male characters, however, Fogel centers female characters by giving Princess Peach and Rosalina the most powerful attributes.
With all of the horrible computer-generated imagery in movies today, this film’s animation proved to be a breath of fresh air. It looks like Pixar needs to up their game.
If you can’t find time to see this movie, just skip your next class.
