The Student Outdoor Learning Experience (SOLE) Center provides students with educational outdoor recreation opportunities.
Located in the Gallogly Recreation and Wellness Center, SOLE operates a rock-climbing wall, outdoor equipment rental, bike and ski workshops and more. They also plan outdoor excursions such as hikes and ski trips multiple times throughout each semester.
Tyler Oakley (he/him)

Tyler Oakley is one of SOLE’s trip leaders and has been at the center for two years. He is a junior biology major.
His favorite memory with SOLE is the Grand Canyon backpacking trip he led last spring break, which was a fun, informative experience for him.
Oakley is originally from Castle Rock. He likes doing anything outdoors, from climbing to skiing. He also likes playing Dungeons & Dragons and Magic the Gathering.
Grant Tatum (he/him)

Grant Tatum is the program assistant at SOLE and has been working for two years. He is a sophomore psychology major.
His favorite memory with SOLE is the trip to Moab, Utah that he got to attend.
Tatum is originally from Parker. When he’s not working, he likes to snowboard, a love that he got from SOLE. He also likes to mountain bike, camp and hike.
Bradley Rogers (he/him)

Bradley Rogers is a sophomore economics and pre-law major who has been working at the SOLE center for about a year.
He enjoys the climbing competition that SOLE puts on because it’s entertaining seeing people climb the specific routes he makes.
Rogers is originally from Loveland. His favorite thing to do when he’s not working is climb mountains. He recently climbed Cameron Cone, which he said was really fun.
