Gov. Jared Polis will virtually attend an SGA meeting for a Q&A session with UCCS students on Thursday, Oct. 28.

According to Speaker of the Senate and Senator of Graduate School Nicholas St. John, if students want a chance to ask a question, they should submit any questions through a Google form. SGA will screen the submitted questions and randomly select from topic categories.

“Basically, the Governor will be introduced by our Senator of Business Jerome Frimpong, then the Governor will give a brief speech, and then we will proceed to questions. The senators will be asking the student-submitted questions,” St. John wrote via email.

The deadline to submit questions is Thursday, Oct. 21 by 2 p.m. If your question is picked, you may be asked to attend the event on campus to ask your question.

This event is open to the UCCS community to attend.

The SGA meeting will be held in Berger Hall on Oct. 28 at 7:30 p.m. and will also be streamed live on YouTube.
