Whether you’re a freshman or graduate student, there’s a high probability you’ve stopped by Big Cat Coffee for a caffeine boost or an on-the-go snack. The friendly faces behind the counter are the backbone of student morale, so it’s only right to get to know some of them.
Hannah Conway (she/her)
Meet Hannah Conway, a senior philosophy student who has been working at Big Cat Coffee for two years.
Hannah’s go-to drink is an iced lavender latte with oat milk, and her snack of choice is a blueberry muffin. She says her favorite part about working at Big Cat is how friendly the customers are and how accommodating it is with her class schedule.
When she’s not working, Hannah loves to travel, read and write.
Mylah Harrison (she/her)
Meet one of Big Cat’s newest baristas, Mylah Harrison. Mylah is a sophomore nursing major who has been working for three weeks now.
Mylah likes to make her own concoctions when she’s working, but her favorite drink is strawberry frosted lemonade with peach and coconut syrup. Her favorite part of working at Big Cat is meeting people and interacting with the campus community.
She enjoys watching K-Dramas and practicing acts of self-care like meditation and yoga when she’s not working.
Olivia Sargent (she/her)
Meet Olivia Sargent, a junior nutrition and human physiology major who has worked at Big Cat for four months.
Olivia’s favorite drink is an iced tea with raspberry and blueberry syrup. When she’s in the mood for coffee, she typically goes for an iced mocha. Her favorite pastries are the chocolate croissants.
Olivia is on the track and cross-country teams. In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with friends and family and hiking.
Big Cat Coffee is in the University Center and is open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. They accept cash, card, meal swipes and Clyde’s Cash.
