PHOTOSPREAD | Baseball goes 1-3 in final week of games before conference play

The Mountain Lion baseball team played in four games last week, in which they lost to the CSU Pueblo on Feb. 20 and defeated St. Cloud State University on Feb. 24 before dropping a double-header to them on Feb. 25.

Kit Wigington led the team against CSU Pueblo with three hits followed by Kasey Campbell and Evan Steinberger adding two hits each. Caleb Chance led UCCS in total hits against St. Cloud State University with seven, while Hayden Iverson followed closely behind with six. UCCS’ record stands at 3-12 through non-conference play.

Up next, the Mountain Lions will play Colorado Christian on Feb. 27 at 2 p.m. followed by the University of Mary on Feb. 28 at 2 p.m.
