PHOTOSPREAD | Lunar New Year 2026

The Colorado Springs Chinese Cultural Institute (CSCCI) celebrated The Year of the Horse with their 27th annual Lunar New Year Festival at the Ent Center. The event occurred on Feb. 7.

Stationed outside the Ent. Center were several food trucks for students and attendees alike to grab a bite to eat. Inside the Center, there was a “Chinatown” marketplace operated by friends, families and companies selling fidgets, clothes, jewelry and artworks. The event also featured two cultural performances held in the Shockley-Zalabak Theater (not pictured) which displayed a multitude of dances and performances.
