UCCS played Westminster on Feb. 9 followed by Colorado Mesa University on Feb. 10. The Mountain Lions beat the Griffins 81-76 but fell short against the Mavericks 92-72.
#24 Mac Stodart was leading scorer for the Mountain Lions against Westminster finishing with 18 points and 1 rebound and #2 Xavier Martinez was the second leader with 15 points, 7 assists and 3 rebounds. #1 Jayden Washington was number one on the leader board against CMU with 16 points and 2 rebounds.
Up next, the Mountain Lions are on the road to take on Black Hills State on Feb. 16 and South Dakota Mines on Feb. 17. The next home game for UCCS is on Mar. 1 against Colorado State Pueblo.
