PHOTOSPREAD | Softball takes 3-1 series win against Adams State

The UCCS softball team played Adams State in a four-game series on April 5 and 6. The Mountain Lions won the series three games to one, with their biggest win being a 12-1 victory in the third game of the series.

Catcher Gianna Pancost led the team with five hits through two games against the Grizzlies. Outfielder Jacqueline Berkowitz added a pair of hits during the opening game of the series. Third baseman Jacquelynn Siefken and outfielder Lexi Wagner each led the team with three hits during the final game of the series.

Up next, the Mountain Lions will play Colorado School of Mines in a four-game series in Golden on April 13 and 14 followed by another four-game series against CSU Pueblo starting on April 19.
