The Mountain Lions defeated Westminster on Oct. 19 without dropping a single set, 3-0, making it their ninth win of the season that pulls the team back to an even win percentage.
Outside hitter Emily Pruitt led the team in kills with 11 and aces with 4. Outside hitter Payton Tompkins was second in kills with 8.
UCCS volleyball will be on the road this weekend to faceoff against Western Colorado on Oct. 25 at 6 p.m. and Fort Lewis on Oct. 26 at 7 p.m. After the Fort Lewis game, the remainder of the Mountain Lions’ season is at home beginning on Oct. 31 against Adams State at 6 p.m. for the first match of the RMAC Power Pod.
