PHOTOSPREAD | Women’s lacrosse secures back-to-back home wins

The UCCS women’s lacrosse team played Dominican on March 4 and Concordia-St. Paul on March 6, winning both matches and taking their record to 2-1 to open the season.

#6 Emma Grace Martin and #15 Sarah Urbanic were the leading scorers for the Mountain Lions with four goals each against Dominican. #4 Julia Patrick and #16 Brielle Fannin were close behind with three and two goals, respectively.

Patrick and Urbanic were the leading scorers against Concordia-St. Paul with three goals followed by Martin and #17 Jaden Sellers with one goal each.

Up next, UCCS will play Rockhurst on March 12 at 11 p.m. and Maryville on March 17 at 11 a.m.
