Mountain Lions women’s soccer is on a five-game losing streak following their defeat by MSU Denver on Oct. 6. They have yet to win an RMAC conference game.
The Mountain Lions scored early in the first half with a goal from midfielder #7 Taylynn Levi. UCCS had 15 total shots in the game but still fell to MSU Denver’s goals in the second half. Midfielder #11 Fie Steenberg led the team with five shots.
The team is now 0-4-0 in the RMAC and 2-6-2 for the season.
The Mountain Lions play next at Fort Lewis in Durango, Colorado against Fort Lewis College on Oct. 13 at noon. Their next home game is Oct. 18 against Black Hills State at 11 a.m.
