Students show support for women in Iran with March for Mahsa

The March for Mahsa on Sept. 30 was led by Amanda Ford, SGA senator at large and co-president of College Democrats. The march across campus aimed to bring awareness to the arrest, beating and subsequent death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini in Iran for not wearing her hijab correctly. UCCS students walked from Cragmor to Alpine, chanting, “Justice for Mahsa.”
