The annual VAPA Film Festival is back again, and it welcomes all students and non-students to a showcase of films and a celebration of UCCS student achievements in filmmaking.
This festival will be held in Dwire Hall room 121 on Saturday, April 25 from noon to 6 p.m.
The VAPA (Visual & Performing Arts) film program was created by former filmmaker and professor Robert Von Dassanowsky. The first festival was held in 2001.
The festival will feature a multitude of genres, including horror, comedy, documentaries and more.
Anyone is allowed to submit their work to the festival, no matter their major or discipline. Even though this festival is directed toward students, it is open to all Colorado Springs filmmakers who wish to display films for all to see. Students can use this link to submit films.
For any questions about the festival or how to submit films, email Jessie Thompson at [email protected] for more information.
The 25th annual VAPA Film Festival will be on April 25. Picture by Mountain Lion Connect.
