Tropical Storm Gamma
A tropical storm in the Gulf Coast is expected to produce heavy rainfall and winds in southeastern Mexico this week. The storm threatens heavy flooding and mudslides, particularly in the mountainous regions of southeastern Mexico and Central America. After making landfall on Saturday, the storm has already caused flooding and structural damage to the Mexican Gulf Coast. Rain from the storm system is also being seen in some areas of Florida and Cuba.
COVID-19 at UCCS
As of Sunday, there have been 28 total positive tests, with just two new cases last week. Of these positive cases, 22 have recovered. Four of 33 isolation rooms are occupied.
